5.00PM, 10.00AM & 12.00NN MASSES
PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself today and always to Your Most Sacred Heart.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore, that I may ever love You more and more.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like Yours.
Amen.
(5PM) ENTRANCE: O COME, O COME, EMMANUEL
1.
O come, O come, Emmanuel,
And ransom captive Israel.
That mourns in lonely exile here,
Until the Son of God appear.
Chorus:
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel,
Shall come to thee, O Israel.
2.
O come, Thou day spring from on high,
And cheer us by thy drawing nigh.
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night,
And death’s dark shadow put to flight.
(5PM) OFFERTORY: IN BREAD WE BRING YOU, LORD
1.
In bread we bring You, Lord, our bodies labour.
In wine we offer You, our spirit’s grief.
We do not ask You, Lord, who is my neighbour?
But stand united now, one in belief.
Oh we have gladly heard Your word, Your holy word,
And now in answer, Lord, our gifts we bring.
Our selfish hearts make true,
Our failing faith renew,
Our lives belong to You,
Our Lord and King.
2.
The bread we offer You, is blessed and broken,
And it became for us our spirit’s food.
Over the cup we bring, Your word is spoken,
Make it Your gift to us, Your healing blood.
Take all the daily toil, plants in our hearts’ poor soil.
Take all we start and spoil, each hopeful dream.
The chances we have missed,
The graces we resist.
Lord in Thy eucharist,
Take and redeem.
(5PM) COMMUNION: ON JORDAN'S BANK
1.
On Jordan’s bank the Baptist’s cry,
Announces that the Lord is nigh.
Awake and harken for he brings,
Glad tidings of the King of kings.
2.
Then cleansed be every heart from sin,
Make straight the way of God within.
Let each one his own heart prepare,
For Christ to come and enter there.
3.
We hail you as our Savior, Lord.
Our refuge, and our great reward;
Without your grace we waste away
Like flow’rs that wither and decay.
4.
To heal the sick stretch out your hand.
And bid the fallen sinner stand;
Shine forth, and let your light restore
Earth’s own true loveliness once more.
5.
To God the Son all glory be!
Whose advent set your people free.
Whom with the Father we adore,
And Holy Spirit ever more.
(5PM) THANKSGIVING: DEAR LADY OF FATIMA
1.
Ave Maria, Ave Maria.
The heavens were opened,
Our Lady appeared at Fatima, one day,
To tell again, of the great need of prayer.
As her children, we answer this way.
2.
Dear Lady of Fatima,
We come on bended knee,
To beg your intercession,
For peace and unity.
Dear Mary, won’t you show us,
The right and shining way?
We pledge our love and offer you,
A rosary each day.
3.
You promised at Fatima,
Each time that you appeared,
To help us if we pray to you,
To banish war and fear.
Dear Lady, on first Saturday,
We ask your guiding hand,
For peace and guidance here on earth,
And protection for our land.
(5PM) RECESSIONAL: FOLLOW CHRIST
1.
Follow Christ and love the world as He did,
When He walked upon the earth.
Love each friend and enemy as He did,
In God’s eyes we have equal worth.
2.
Follow Christ and serve the world as He did,
When He ministered to everyone.
Serve each friend and enemy as He did,
So that the Father’s will be done.
3.
He said: “Love each other as I loved you,
By this all men will know you are Mine.
As I served you, so must you do.
This new commandment I assign.”

1.
“Ready the way of the Lord,

Let every mountain be humbled,
Let every valley be filled.
Chorus:
Here is your God,
coming with your vindication.
Look and behold the saving power of God.
2.
Desert and waste land will bloom,
Desert and waste land will bloom.
Glory and splendour will fill the land,
Desert and waste land will bloom.
Those who are blind will then see,
Those who are deaf will then hear.
Those who are lame will then leap for joy,
Those who are mute will then sing.

Strengthen the ones who are weak,
Strengthen the ones who are weak.
Say to the frightened: “Have courage.”
Strengthen the ones who are weak.

(12NN) THANKSGIVING: ONE MORE GIFT
Chorus:
If there's one more gift I'd ask of you, Lord
It would be peace here on earth
As gentle as your children's laughter
All around, all around
1.
Your people have grown weary
Of living in confusion
When will we realize
That neither heaven is at peace?
When we will live not in peace
2.
Grant me serenity, within
For the confusions around
Are mere reflections of what's within
What's within me
(12NN) RECESSIONAL: PASS IT ON
1.
It only takes a spark, to get a fire going
And soon all those around, can warm up in its glowing

You want to pass it on
2.
What a wondrous time is spring, when all the trees are budding
The birds begin to sing, the flowers start their blooming
That's how it is with God's love, once you've experienced it
You want to sing it's fresh like spring
You want to pass it on
3.
I wish for you my friend, this happiness that I've found
You can depend on Him, it matters not where you're bound
I'll shout it from the mountain top, I want the world to know
The Lord of love has come to me
I want to pass it on
