14TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

5 & 6 JULY 2025

5PM, 10 AM & 12 NN MASSES

PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART

Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself today and always to Your Most Sacred Heart.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore, that I may ever love You more and more.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me.

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like Yours.

Amen.

(10AM) ENTRANCE: PRAISE TO THE LORD (THE ALMIGHTY)

1.

Praise to the Lord,

The Almighty, the King of creation.

O my soul praise Him,

For He is thy health and salvation.

All ye who hear, now to His altar draw near.

Joining in glad adoration.

2.

Praise to the Lord,

Who doth prosper thy work and defend thee.

Surely His goodness and mercy,

Shall daily attend thee.

Ponder anew what the Almighty can do.

Who with His love doth befriend thee.

3.

Praise to the Lord,

O let all that is in us adore Him.

All that has lift and breath,

Come now in praises before Him.

Let the Amen sound from His people again.

Now as we worship before Him.

(10AM) OFFERTORY: AS BREAD THAT IS BROKEN

1.

Many hearts are hungry tonight.

Many trapped in darkness, yearn for the light.

So many who are far from home and many who are lost

O Lord, Your wounded children need the power of Your cross.

Chorus:

As bread that is broken, use our lives.

As wine that is poured out, a willing sacrifice.

Empower us, Father, to share the love of Christ.

As bread that is broken, Lord, use our lives.

2.

Help us to begin where we are.

Help us love the people near to our hearts.

Then give our faith a mission field,

Wherever You may call.

Lord, love Your world through each one of us,

Until we’ve touched them all.

(10AM) COMMUNION: TAKE AND EAT THIS BREAD

Chorus:

Take and eat this bread, Take and drink this cup,

This is my body and my blood,

When you eat bread, When you drink this cup,

You live in me and I in you.

1.

This is the bread, come down from heaven,

This is the cup of our salvation.

2.

Gathered as one, around one table,

Sent forth to witness to salvation.

3.

With in our hands, we hold the mystery,

Dying and rising to salvation.

4.

Come all who thirst, for life eternal,

Come to the table of salvation.

(10AM) THANKSGIVING: AS THE DEER PANTETH FOR THE WATER

1.

As the deer panteth for the water,

So my soul longeth after Thee.

You alone are my heart’s desire,

And I long to worship Thee.

Chorus:

You alone are my strength, my shield,

To you alone, may my spirit yield.

You alone are my heart’s desire,

And I long to worship Thee.

2.

You’re my friend and You are my brother,

Even though You are a King.

I love You more than any other,

So much more than anything.

3.

I want You more than gold or silver,

Only You can satisfy.

You alone are the true joy giver,

And the apple of my eye.

(10AM) RECESSIONAL: LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH

1.

Let there be peace on earth,

And let it begin with me.

Let there be peace on earth,

That peace that was meant to be.

With God as our Father,

Brothers all are we.

Let me walk with my brother in perfect harmony.

2.

Let peace begin with me,

Let this be the moment now.

With every step I take,

Let this be my solemn vow.

To take each moment,

And live each moment,

In peace eternally.

Let there be peace on earth,

And let it begin with me.

(12NN) ENTRANCE: LOVE DIVINE, ALL LOVE EXCELLING

1.

Love Divine, all love excelling,

Joy of heav’n, to earth come down;

Fix in us Thy humble dwelling,

All Thy faithful mercies crown.

Jesus, Thou art all compassion;

Pure, unbounded love Thou art;

Visit us with Thy salvation,

Enter every trembling heart.

2.

Come, Almighty, to deliver,

Let us all Thy life receive;

May Thy presence e’er be with us,

Never more Thy temples leave.

Thee we would be always blessing,

Serve Thee as Thou wouldst approve,

Pray, and praise Thee without ceasing,

 Glory in Thy perfect love.

3.

Finish, then, thy new creation;

Pure and spotless let us be;

Let us see thy great salvation

Perfectly restored in thee;

Changed from glory into glory

Till in Heav'n we take our place,

Till we cast our crowns before thee,

Lost in wonder, love, and praise!

(12NN) OFFERTORY: ALL MAN'S LABOUR CAN PRODUCE

Chorus:

May this lowly bread and wine

Be the sacrifice divine

Of our saviour Jesus Christ!

Of our saviour Jesus Christ!

1.

All man’s labour can produce,

You have given for our use:

Take, O Lord, our offering!

Take, O Lord, our offering!

2.

On this gift of bread and wine,

Of our sacrifice a sign,

Father, look with favour now!

Father, look with favour now!

3.

May this food which strength imparts,

Bring refreshment to our hearts,

And a taste of joy to come!

And a taste of joy to come!

(12NN) COMMUNION: UBI CARITAS

Chorus:

Ubi caritas est vera, est vera;

Deus ibest. Deus ibiest

1.

The love of Christ joins us together

Let us rejoice in him,

and in our love and care for all

now love God in return.

2.

In true communion let us gather

May all divisions cease

and in their place be Christ the Lord,

our risen Prince of Peace

3.

May we who gather at this table

to share the bread of life

become a sacrament of love,

your healing touch, O Christ

4.

For those in need make us your mercy

for those oppressed, your might.

Make us your Church a holy sign

of justice and new life.

5.

May we one day behold your glory

and see you face to face,

rejoicing with the saints of God

to sing eternal praise.

(12NN) THANKSGIVING: CHANGE OUR HEARTS

Chorus:

Change our hearts this time,

your word says it can be.

Change our minds this time,

your life could make us free.

We are the people your call sets apart.

Lord, this time change our hearts.

1.

Brought by your hand to the edge of our dreams,

one foot in paradise, one in the waste.

Drawn by your promises, still we are lured

by the shadows and the chains we leave behind. But …

2.

Now as we watch you stretch out your hands,

offering abundances, fullness of joy,

your milk and honey seem distant, unreal,

when we have bread and water in our hands. But …

3.

Show us the way that leads to your side,

over the mountains and sands of the soul.

Be for us manna, water from stone,

light which says we never walk alone. And …

(12NN) RECESSIONAL: THE GREAT JUBILEE

1.

It's a time of joy, a time of peace

A time when hearts are then set free

A time to heal the wounds of division

It's a time of grace, a time of hope

A time of sharing the gifts we have

A time to build the world that is one

It's the time to give thanks to the Father, Son and Spirit

And with Mary, our Mother, we sing this song

Chorus:

Open your hearts to the Lord and begin to see the mystery

That we are all together as one family

No more walls, no more chains, no more selfishness and closed doors

For we are in the fullness of God's time

It's the time of the Great Jubilee

2.

It's a time of prayer, a time of praise

A time to lift our hands to God

A time to recall all our graces

It's a time to touch, time to reach

Those hearts that often wonder

A time to bring them back to God's embrace

It's the time to give thanks to the Father, Son and Spirit

And with Mary, our Mother, we sing this song
