PRAYER TO THE SACRED HEART
Merciful Jesus, I consecrate myself today and always to Your Most Sacred Heart.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore, that I may ever love You more and more.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in Your love for me.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like Yours.
Amen.
ENTRANCE: BEHOLD AMONG MAN
Chorus:
Behold among men, the dwelling place of God
They shall be his people and He shall be their Lord and God.
1.
People called by God through the world of the prophet,
People brought together in the house of the Lord,
People who attended to their Lord,
The Church of Christ the Lord.
2.
Temple built by saints, by the martyrs and apostles.
Holy temple built-upon Christ the Cornerstone.
Holy dwelling place of our God.
The church of Christ the Lord.
3.
People who are born in the waters of the Spirit.
People who are marked by the seal of the Spirit.
People in the Spirit made one.
The church of Christ, the Lord.
OFFERTORY: NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
1.
Gone is the guilt of my sin,
Peace is now reigning within;
Since I believed, pardon received,
Happy, so happy I've been!
Chorus:
New Life in Christ! Abundant and free!
What glories shine, what joys are mine,
What wondrous blessings I see!
My past with its sin,
The searching and strife,
Forever gone, there's a bright new dawn!
For in Christ I have found New Life!
2.
Brighter the journey each day,
Tho there is much to dismay;
Heaven awaits - Bright pearly gates,
There at the end of the way.
3.
Come with your sin-burdened heart,
Christ will his cleansing impart;
He will forgive - in him you'll live,
O how the joy bells will start.
COMMUNION: HERE AT THIS TABLE
Chorus:
Come and be filled, here at this table
Food for all who hunger, and drink for all who thirst
Drink of his love, Wine of salvation
You shall live forever, in Jesus Christ the Lord
1.
You who labor for justice, you who labor for peace
You who steady the plow in the field of the Lord
2.
You with lives full of pain, you who sorrow and weep
You, beloved of Christ, come to him, come to him!
3.
Children of ev'ry color in ev'ry land
You are his own, He gathers you gently
Don't you grow weary, For when you run You run with the Lord!
4.
You, the aged among us, Holy, faithful and wise,
May the wisdom you share, Form our lives and our world!
5.
Let each woman and man, Learn from the stranger;
We're not so diff'rent, And so much unites us.
For we are one, Blest with the Spirit And the power of love
RECESSIONAL: WE WALK BY FAITH
1.
We walk by faith, and not by sight:
No gracious words we hear;
Of him who spoke as none e’er spoke,
But we believe him near.
2.
We may not touch his hand and side,
Nor follow where he trod:
Yet in his promise we rejoice:
And cry “My Lord and God”
3.
Help then, O Lord, our unbelief,
And may our faith abound:
To call on you when you are near,
And seek where you are found:
4.
That when our life of faith is done,
In realms of clearer light:
We may behold you as you are,
In full and endless sight.
5.
We walk by faith, and not by sight:
No gracious words we hear,
Of him who spoke as none e’er spoke,
But we believe him near.
